The ByteSwitch® sewing assist is an alternative to foot-pedal operated sewing machines. The ByteSwitch controller operates by mouth or hand. Designed for a specially selected Singer® sewing machine with world-wide service and support.

This is a full featured deluxe free-arm sewing machine. Rugged "school model" features an easy threading auto-tension system and traditional foot pedal. Shipped complete with our exclusive ByteSwitch speed controller that works with this machines electronic speed control. Electronic speed control allow you to maintain or change speeds smoothly from start to finish.

How does the ByteSwitch work?
The ByteSwitch uses captive air to control the speed of your sewing. The more the ByteSwitch is compressed the faster your sewing speed.
 
Can I buy this sewing machine from any Singer dealer?
Yes and no. The machine is a current model that can be purchased at any Singer Dealer. However the ByteSwitch controller is exclusively available from Bed Handles, Inc.
 
Is Bed Handles, Inc. an authorized Singer Dealer?
Yes we are. Bed Handles, Inc. is an authorized Singer dealer, however, we only offer this one model of sewing machine along with our ByteSwitch. We can provide additional Singer accessories such as a carrying case or accessories that you need.
 
Is this adaptive sewing machine expensive?
Not at all. This sewing machine costs about the same as any comparable model. A real value.
 
Will the ByteSwitch work with any sewing machine?
No. It will only work with one Singer machine.
 
Can several people share the same machine?
Yes, additional ByteSwitch bulbs, with tubing and connector, can be used when several users share a machine. The ByteSwitch is easily removed and installed in just seconds without tools. The standard foot pedal control can always be installed in just seconds for conventional use.
